This itinerary is perfect combination of two destinations – The shadows of Sun in Northern part of India and the hues of sea in the Southern most part. Blending them gives a unique way of seeing India with ones own eyes. It also accomplishes the idea of seeing varied cultures of this country as you move on seeing Hinduism in the Ghats of Varanasi and a blend of Christianity in Churches of Goa. So, come and see the varied shades of this unique Country, in this 13 Days North India with Beach Tours package which not tells you about this land as a whole but also tells you, what it means to be a multi – cultural country!

Tour Program

Day 01 Arrival at Delh

You will get a warm welcome in a traditional way at Delhi Airport on your arrival through Travelogy India’s Executive. He will transfer you to the hotel and will assist you through the check-in process. You will get your tour documents from our representative, who will also have a brief tour discussion with you. You can then relax in the hotel, have your dinner and have a comfortable stay there.

Day 02 Delhi Sightseeing

Begin the 2nd day of the tour with a heavy Indian breakfast (optional) and set off for the day. Delhi the Capital of India is a vast state – a complex mix of the bygone era and modern day technology. So, the first place we will visit Qutub Minar and Jama Masjid (both UNESCO World Heritage Sites). The tallest Minaret of India, Qutub Minar still stands tall. In the Qutub Minar Complex you can also see the actual Emperor Ashoka Pillar with original inscriptions on it. As for Jama Masjid, we will see it from outside only. After this we will visit the Swaminarayan Temple. After lunch around the temple, we will move on to see the 21st century architecture – Lotus Temple (B’ahai Temple), Raj Ghat and Shakti Peeth (where Mahatama Gandhi and Mrs. Indira Gandhi were laid down) and Habitat Centre. In the evening we shall take you Chandni Chowk. Enjoy seeing the local market and shop for ethnic dresses and jewellery here. Dinner is at the hotel only.

Day 03 Delhi – Varanasi

Next day soon after breakfast we will take you back to Delhi Airport from where we will catch a flight to Varanasi or Old Benaras. Benaras has a culture of its own. The uniqueness one finds here is difficult to find in any other place. On reaching here we will see the ages old Vishwanath Temple. The adobe of Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati, it’s a must visit destination for everyone who reaches Benaras. Soon after lunch we will move on to see Sarnath – the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after achieving Nirvana.In the evening we will be back in the city where you can take a walk in the Old Benaras city to have a feel of the place or can take rest in the room of your hotel. Late evening, we will be back at Ganga Ghat to see the evening Ganga Aarti. An hour’s aarti, its different in its own way. After this you can either take a round of the city or be back in the hotel. Dinner shall be served in the hotel.

Day 04 Varanasi – Khajuraho

On the 4th day of the tour, get up a little early hot cup of tea; as we take you for a Boat Ride in the river Ganges. See the sun rising, birds flirting and people paying their dues to the river, sadhus chanting hymns and people from around the Globe worshipping the Holy Hindu River! After this, be back in the hotel, finish your breakfast and be at the Varanasi Airport to catch flight to Khajuraho. On reaching Khajuraho, check in the hotel and have lunch. Soon after lunch, we shall be take you to see wonders of Khajuraho – Khajuraho Temples! Known for their erotic rock – cut idols, these temples are a blend of Hindu Lords Shiva and Vishnu. Watch out for sculptures and images in Eastern and Western which are totally different from the India’s contemporary standards. Dinner shall be served in the hotel in Khajuraho.

Day 05 Khajuraho – Orchha – Jhansi - Agra

Get up to a early breakfast as we move on to our next destination – Orchha (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Orchha located in Tikamgardh town of Madhya Pradesh. Located on Betwa river, from a distance the Chatris of these look like as if touching the sky. Watch out here for miniature wall paintings showcasing the Art of Madhya Pradesh, architecture which is quite different from that of North India and the mix of sky blues and reds! If you are lucky enough to be here on a rainy day – you will find it completely different! Orchha is also known for little murkiness – hear it from our guide to add crispiness to the visit! After visiting this lovely place; enjoy Ethnic Madhya Pradesh delicacies in one of the Heritage restaurants of Orchha. After lunch we will set off towards Agra – the land of eternal love. Night stay and dinner shall be at Agra Hotel only.

Day 06 Agra

Rise to the filtering sunlight coming inside your Agra Hotel room. After a refreshing continental breakfast we move on to see Taj Mahal – one of the finest examples of Mughal architecture and marble! On reaching here, soak yourself in the hues of pure white marble brought all the way from Makrana (name of a place) and frescos and inlays. Original place of lying of Emperor Shahjahan and Queen Mumtaz Mahal is below the first floor of Taj; but you can see the replicas on the 1st floor. Spend morning hours here as we take you to Red Fort of Agra. Built by Emperor Akbar, it has a lot of palace apartments to see with shadows of successive emperors in it. Take our Guided tour of it after which we shall take you for lunch. After lunch we shall visit two more places – Fatehpur Sikri and Tomb of Itimad – ud – Daulah. In the evening shop for miniature Taj Mahal as souvenirs and return back to the hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 07 Agra – Jaipur

Next day get up to a lazy morning, refresh and have breakfast. From here we move on towards Jaipur – the Capital of Rajasthan by road. We will touch Jaipur by lunch time. After lunch take rest. In the evening, we will take you to the local market – Babu Market. Go on a shopping spree here for ethnic Rajasthani dress (Kota Doria saris), embroided leather footwear, brassware, ready – made linens, hand – blocked prints tie – and dye cotton fabrics and jewellery, miniature paintings and artifacts. After spending time here we will take you to Chowki Dhani – a man made Rajasthani Village (On the way to Chowki Dhani see the lighting of Hawa Mahal – which makes it unique. Do get clicked here! ). Enjoy ethnic Rajasthani Delicacies and various games like Kathputli and Ghoomar Dance, apply Mehandi and get the feel of Indian Village. In the night we shall return to the hotel.

Day 08 Around Jaipur

Jaipur is one of the finest cities of India. It’s not only colourful but also one of the destinations representing Indian Architecture and History which no other place does. So, we set off the next morning to explore this place. The first destination here is Hawa Mahal (Honeycombed 5 storied Palace also known as the Palace of Winds). After seeing this, we move on to see Amber Fort and City Palace (see here miniature paintings, silver urns, miniature silver museum and jharokhas). After lunch around City Palace we move on to see the largest Solar Observatory of India. Take a explicit guided you’re here; soon after which we shall move on to Nahargarh Fort. Sunset is best photographed here! For dinner we will go back to the hotel

Day 09 Jaipur – Udaipur

Udaipur also known as City of Lakes is an interesting place to be in as it is one of the greatest muses of Maharajas of Udaipur. Well crafted, beautifully architectures- its altogether different to be here, even if for a day or two! So, on the 9th day of the tour we shall move on to this destination by road! Reaching here in the second half, we will first take you to City Palace. In addition to the muses of Maharajahs inside the City Palace, see the World’s Largest CRYSTAL GALLERY. After this take a Boat Ride to the City Lake Palace amidst the Lake Pichola. After spending some time here; move on to see Classic Collection of Vintage Cars of Maharajah Swai Madho Singhji. Enjoy a little late lunch here. In the evening enjoy Boat ride at Fatheh Sagar Lake and shopping for souvenirs like Ashta Dhatu (composition of eight metals) crafts. Dinner and night stay at the hotel.

Day 10 Udaipur – Goa

Next morning, soon after breakfast we will catch the first flight to Goa via Ahmedabad. After reaching Goa, check – in the hotel and take the day rest. Lunch and dinner will be in the hotel only.

Day 11 Goa Sightseeing

On the 11th day of the tour; get up to a refreshing breakfast. At a time, Anjuna beach was one of the most happening beaches of Goa. Today there are others too! In addition to the beaches , we shall also see some of the Churches of Goa. The first one is St. Francis Basillica which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s the Church where relics of St. Francis have been kept and are open for general view once a year. Overlooking the Tomb is the Bom Jesus Basillica Art Gallery – which can be seen soon-after! Once this is over, we shall move on to Cavellosim Beach. Enjoy the day here amidst coconut grooves and paddy fields! Sip in fresh coconut water or local Fenni! Late evening we shall be back to the hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day 12 Around Goa Beaches

Fort Aguada and the Lighthouse there is the place we shall see on 12th day of your tour. It’s a good 17th century Portuguese Fort constructed to guard against the Dutch. See around prominent things of the Fort like moat, underground water storage chamber, gunpowder room. Light house and So On. Spend the afternoon here at Sinquerim Beach. For lunch we will be back in the hotel. In the evening, we will take you to Manderam Beach. Peaceful and tranquil, enjoy the waves coming and touching your feet. Late evening we shall be back in the hotel .

Day 13 More of Goa Beaches

On 13th day of the tour, we will set off to Baga Beach which is famous for water sports and beach parties. Enjoy water sports here and Dolphin cruise. Spend the entire day here. Late evening, we shall see you at Water Cruise Beach Party and Enjoy amazing sea food. Late night back to the hotel for night stay.

Day 14 Goa – Mumba

On the last day of the tour, soon after breakfast we shall see you going back to Mumbai for your onwards journey.
